A Beach Mini You Can Make on the Road
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Samantha Walker’s Nautical line and created a mini album that’s just the right size to take along on vacation. I used these 2 kits for my mini:
There are so many great elements to these digital kits and I used many of them to create a compact mini album kit that I was able to work on during a rainy day while at the beach.
The decorative cards were perfect to form the base of my mini. I laid them out in a word processing program so when printed, I could cut my printed sheet and use it to form an origami mini book.
Now that I had my base, I printed out some embellishments to bring along with me.
Many of the shapes in Samantha’s Nautical line are perfect for using in your die cut machine. I loaded a few of those awesome images into my Silhouette and cut them out of matching cardstock:
I brought along other items like buttons and string:
and very basic tools:
Everything fit nicely in a small tin box that was only 5.5 x 4 x 2.5 inches.
I put most of the album together while away and added a few more embellishments and photos when I got home.
There is even room in this small album for three pockets.
