Full of Treat Cakes

Debbie here from Craftin Chaos and today we are celebrating the birthday of Jessicasprague.com. It has been 7 years so the team was to concentrate on the number "7". I had originally wanted to also make 7 treat bags and have 7 of a variety of things in my picture.

I had a family emergency that took me away from home so it also put a bit of a halt in my crafting. Being away for a while was hard for so many reasons. But I managed to get one of my visions done and I hope you get some inspiration from it. I don't have step by step pictures this time as I was working on a time crunch.

I wanted to take the Happy Birthday celebration literal in my use of the "7" so I created 3 boxes which you can fill each one with a variety of candy and treats for the birthday person. You can fill the bottom two round boxes with candy or I would also individually wrap some rice krispy treats (my absolute fav's) just to give the birthday person such a variety and the people at the party. I concentrated on the top box.

I used a cut file to create the box on top and I knew I wanted it to be rectangle and tall. I created "7" holes in the top with my cameo for the pops to stick out of.

I then created the bottom two round boxes. I used "Samantha Walker's Hat Box" to create these. I modified the size to get what I needed.

I used Carta Bella's "It's a Celebration" papers. I love all the variety you can get on Snap Click Supply Co. I like that you have access to so many great designer papers at your fingertips!

I used the elements from the collection to create the large tag for the front of my box and then pop dotted the party hat on it. I added Timeless Twine to the top part of my second box to give more dimension. I also tied off my pops with twine.

I melted "Wilton's candy Melts" and put two marshmallows on each stick and dipped them and rolled in various colors of sugars. Super duper easy. I have made these marshmallow pops in a smore's version as well. Dip them in melting chocolates and roll in graham crackers. Trust me your kids....and adults too will love them.

Placed the "7" Pops out the top of the box and it was done! Easy Peasy!
